Billing questions, answered plainly
Who actually charges my card?
Paddle, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. They handle the checkout, store your card, calculate and remit VAT or sales tax for your country, and issue your invoice. The charge on your statement reads PADDLE.NET*. Your card details never touch SSLScan’s servers.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If SSLScan is not what you expected, email support@sslscan.net within 14 days of a charge and we refund it in full - first payments and renewals alike. No form to fill in, no argument. The details are in the refund policy.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account returns to the Free plan and keeps working - nothing is deleted because you stopped paying. Monitors beyond the free limit pause rather than disappear, and resume if you upgrade again. You can export your inventory at any time, and you can delete your account and its data entirely from the settings page.
Do you charge per certificate?
No. As maximum certificate lifetimes fall from 398 days toward 47, the number of certificates and renewals climbs steeply - per-certificate pricing would mean your bill rising because the industry changed a rule. Pro is flat: one price, however many certificates the radar finds.
Monthly or yearly - what changes?
Only the price and the renewal cadence: $12.99 billed monthly, or $129 billed yearly, which works out to two months free. Both renew automatically until cancelled; both are covered by the same 14-day refund window; you can switch between them from the customer portal.
Do you offer invoices with my company details?
Yes - Paddle generates an invoice for every charge, and the customer portal lets you add your company name, address and tax ID so they come out right for your bookkeeping.
